Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I've finished up my new interior (well, except for a few little odds and ends) and have put up the pics on my website. Take a look!

Pics of the finished product are here...

if you want to see it from start to finish, go here...

If Geocities shuts me down for exceeding bandwidth, just check later. = )

Luckily I got to see many of the pics before the site shut down. Turned out really nice. :smoke:

thanks everyone.

On another note... I just took it out for its first drive with the interior all in today... man, it is much QUIETER than it was with the old interior. I put down 2 layers of "FatMat" on the floor and up the firewall as far as it would go... plus two layers on the package tray and rear firewall I fabbed up.

I still wouldn't say it is "quiet" but much quieter... I can have a conversation in the car now... even with those Flowmaster 40s rumbling.

Looks good, that's what I had in mind for my carpet too (using a cut pile from ACC)!! One question though, how come the carpet isn't under your front seats? Does it come that way or did you trim it for some reason??

What do you mean by "not under the front seats? Are you are referring to the fact that the seat mounts I made are on top of the carpet? I guess it does kind of look from the one side like that is the bare floor showing through... That is just because I haven't gotten around to doing the final fitting on those brackets yet. I assure you, the carpet gives full coverate like the original.

Thanks John!! I was a little worried that the carpet didn't cover the floor completely...I feel better now and will buy from ACC!! What was the cost of the carpet by the way??

Again looks good!!

If I remember right, the whole shabang came out to about $240 shipped... that was with an extra three yards length (at $20/yard).

Looks great! I'd only suggest doing something to make the cheap racing seats match the gray interior. Maybe have them re-covered in gray cloth or something.

Yeah, seats where the best I can afford at present. I do like the color contrast personally, but if I could I'd probably make them grey with some kind of black trim. Someday... when I tear the car apart and start over! The first time through has just been a learning process.
