Putting a fast fuel injection kit on a 302 with an edlebrock 289 intake. Problem is that the two coolant ports on the intake are occupied and I need a third for the efi sensor. One port is being used for the dash gauge and the other is filled up by my heater hose line. I cannot find a suitable port in the block and am scratching my head a bit here. Rad hose adapters are out...no room there. I cannot find a water neck with a port in the ford style. Now if I decide to get brave and drill and tap a hole in the intake, where do I do so? Thanks

I had the same problem with my efi install. I was able to find a t'stat with a threaded port at my local auto parts store.
I think the application was for a 351w.

95 Mustang thermostat housing has a provision for a sensor.

Post a update how the Fast EFI runs.

I installed the Fast ez efi on a Motorsport crate 302/345hp engine. I was very impressed with the results, throttle response is amazing. My only suggestion is to install the fuel pump in the gas tank. The high pressure pumps make a lot of noise, especially when it warms ups.
