Goverment budget cuts put me on the chopin block so Im thiking of doing some sidework with all this new freetime. I have access to a full CNC machine shop and welders. Im thinking of making some engine mounts for doing swaps. What do you think of your mounts? How well did they work? Were there any problems with installation? Were there any drawbacks? What would you like to have been able to do different? What would you change? Anything else you would like to see made to aid with the swap PM me and give me some ideas, if it takes off and sells there is always your share of the $$

The Dirty Dingo's are pretty nice - they let you slide the engine forward or backward.

There may be a market for an adjustable frame stand. Those two parts together would fit a lot of swaps.

I second the adjustable frame mount. I am having some major issues with mine. See "oil pan clearance" thread for pics.

I used these LS Conversion plates (http://http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS1-Conversion-Motor-Mount-Adapter-Plates-LS6-5-3-6-0-/260963924525?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item3cc2a97a2d#ht_777wt_901) for $30 on Ebay.

They're made to spec and powdercoated.
Going to be hard to beat this price.
