I'm putting together my 69 Camaro and would like to find a "stock"rear disc brake kit for the 12-bolt.

I already bought a "stock" front disc brake kit (originally drum) from one of the restoration part houses, but didn't intend to look for rear discs at the time. Will the "factory" power master cylinder be ok for the rear disc conversion? What else do I have to consider?

The front disc setup picture is what I already bought. It came with everything to do the conversion except the lines themselves.

The rear disc set up picture is what I'm looking at.

I'm going to call the company that I bought it from and ask questions, but I want to arm myself with the right questions first.

I'm not really a brake guy, more of a stock resto guy, but want to learn about what it would take to convert to the factory 4 wheel brakes.

I wouldn't recommend getting te above kit. I bought it and put it on my car and could never get it adjust right. I changed them for c5 rears.

I already baught and installed those rear disc brakes and i put them on myself without any of the spacers on my 10 bolt rear and im haveing the same adjusting problem my pedal goes to the floor and then the car finally comes to a stop and also i have the same front disckit. i had the guys at the auto shop bleed the system for me and they didnt do any adjusting im going to be taking it back there this week for them to adjust it but would you give me any recomendations on what to tell them to do exactly i told the mechanic there he seemed to not really understand how to adjust them.

I, personally, would keep the rear drums in your case. THere is absolutely nothing wrong with drum brakes on the rear. The rear brakes offer very little to the overall braking of the car. Disc brakes on the rear, again for you, would offer nothing over the rear drums. I do not say that in a condescending way. I would only recommend running rear discs if you were looking for a more performance oriented car. Another note, the factory never offered rear discs except for the rare JL8 brake option. The JL8 brakes are actually C3 vette brakes, front and rear.
