55910I've got a '65 Barracuda in street trim for the last 20 years or so. Car has a 1970 340 sixpack engine and Tremec 5 speed. I just purchased a Reilly Motor Sports Alterktion front suspension for the car and will be adding their triangulated 4-link very soon. The 340 is coming out this week for a new 408. It has a FAST port injection efi kit on it, RHS heads, TTI headers...lot's of goodies. Pro-Touring is just the way to go. Looks, handling, safety, speed...it's all there.
Working on pics...

2900 lbs from the factory. I'm REALLY looking forward to better braking, handling and stopping. I'll be using 17 x 8" bullitt wheels in front and (looks like) 17 x 10" bullits for the rear.

It was only there for pics, now it's on the motor. I'm pulling the stock front end off now for the Alterk! I'm planning on running 17"x8" Bullitt wheels on the front. What is your impression of the AlterK front end? What wheels/tires are you running?

Here's a link showing the car about two years ago. It was a fun update.

Here's some pictures of the progress. The motor is a 360 stroked to 408. RHS small valve heads, 9.5:1 compression, TTI headers, AlterKtion front suspension, Street Lynx triangulated four link rear suspension, FAST multi port EFI, mini-tubbed rear wheel wells, T-5 five speed transmission (soon to be TKO...probably after it breaks), American Muscle wheels.

Hey silvercuda, I like!!
I'm basically going to do the same type of set up with my project (408, RMS suspension). What's the intake manifold you have for the EFI? How's it running now?
How wide of a tire did you get in the rear with the mini-tub? And how wide in the front?
I'm relocating the battery to the rear and an thinking of engineering a cold air induction running where the battery was and widening the hole on the radiator brace for an air inlet behind the grill.
