Question for any of you who have installed a Mcleod blowproof bellhousing. I recently purchased mine for a SBC and when I got it, there were two openings on the side (I assume one for manual and one for hydraulic clutch setup). The problem I have is that there is not a boot to cover either opening available - even after talking with the tech expert at Mcleod. So now my question, do I need to worry about covering these openings or does anyone have ideas on what to use? Unfortunately, the opening for the clutch fork does not match up with the old aluminum bellhousings - thus the boot doesn't fit. Any help would be appreciated.

You do not need to worry about covering the opening. With that said, if you would feel more comfortable covering it with somethig that you fabricate - go ahead and do that.
I do not have mine covered. Red at McLeod says it is not neccessary - I have asked him this question before and I trust his answer.
