View Full Version : How much oil? LS with Autokraft pan

Anybody know of the amount of oil needed for a LS2 using a Autokraft oil pan is a different volumn from stock?

Autokraft oil pan is 5.5qt capacity.

i know this is old but did you ever confirm this? 5.5 and my dipstick is reading low. 6qts seems to put me right there on my ls3, autocraft pan, and stock dipstick.

Call autokraft. Great guys. I had this same question and called they were very helpful in regards to recommended dipsticks and such. 5.5 qts is correct.

You need to use the 4th gen Fbody dipstick for the correct reading.

Ill give that a shot. I guess im alittle over on the oil then since i put 6 qts

Tim is correct.... It also states so on their website.
