Very cool. I am going to have to show my grandpa as he loves the full-size dozer operation. He would be like a kid in a candy store with all of that excitement.

Wow! I'm still on the fence if I'm impressed with this guy's dedication or am judging him to have a few screws loose. Maybe both.

Kinda creepy if you ask me! What's he going to do with the basement when he's finished?

"it puts the lotion on it's skin or it gets the hose again"

Hey like he said he used t have cattle so long trips were out of question. When my grandparents had turkeys they were home bound for months. Grandpa MIGHT go to local gun range and shoot few rounds of trap but still. Gotta be there morning and night. One reason they always planed on having turkeys gone by fall/ Christmas then after Christmas they would take off for Fla/AZ and do some traveling and grandpa would go to big trap shoots,,used to do pretty good some times too!
Hey if you could build and drive your custom cars day in and day out would? Sure! Who wouldnt?
I am focusing on the fact he is using TOYS t o do the work. Remember most of those toys may do specific work for FUN but not for hours on end. Reason heavy machinery is heavy,,its meant to be USED. These things are for junior ot dig up mom flower bed, not a dig a basement. So his dedication AND achievement is to be rewarded.
Besides knowing what those things cost to buy, maintain and use that many rc units is incredible. i mean he probably had $25k in controllers alone. And last is saw some of those machines that are actually all metal are in the THOUSANDS of dollars and I am sure repairs are not cheap.
And actually doing the engineering for accomplishing it with small units is cool too.

I don't know if you can call them toys....

At 6k a pop, that's some serious cash driving around a basement...

If I had that kind of dedication, I would have an operable car....
