Hey guys -

Just wondering if anyone aside from myself is actually driving their car to the RTTC event from Northern, CA. I'm in the Bay Area so if any members are going and want to caravan, please let me know.

Cheers - mike

Mike, there is a crew of us leaving from Gilroy on Thursday around noon. We are trailering 3 cars - FYI. Are you driving yours? I drove mine last year and that was enough.

We plan on meeting at Ironworks in Bakersfield for BBQ like we did last year around 4pm or so. There is a thread on Lateral G about that.

Yep, I'll be driving. Don't own a truck or a trailer... you guys taking the 5 down?

Yep, over to 5 then down to Bakersfield for the show at Ironworks. If you haven't been there to see the amazing metal work there, it's worth a stop. Newman's 55 Chevy I think will be going again and he drives sans trailer as well.

I will be trailering down from the Bay Area on Thursday afternoon, leaving around 4pm....that puts me in Irvine pretty late!

I will be driving the 55 down and my dad and some friends will be driving our 57 wagon behind me as the "chase car". We are in Paso Robles and will be taking the 46 over to Bakersfield. Im not sure how everyone else from north of us is planing on going but we will meet up with you guys at Ironworks and all go from there!

I'm trailering my car down as well. I'm making some changes to the car and will be ready by Thursday. Is the Ironworks BBQ open to eveyone?

I'd say pretty much anyone headed to RTTC! It was a rallying point last year and seems to be headed toward a tradition now with a nice BBQ spread provided again by the infamous Greg Weld.

4pm I believe is the target arrival time FYI.

Good to hear, Rob. Sounds good. We will have quite the entourage. It is looking like around noon or 1pm departure that day -- but we can nail it down closer we get. I will PM you my number.
