I am having a problem disasembling my LT1 T56. It came assembled from the guy I bought it from and I have gotten off the bellhousing but cant remove it due to the fact the throwout bearing is still in there blocking the removal of the pressure plate. My question; exactly how do I go about removing the throwout bearing and clutch fork, this is my first time, and im sure im doing it wrong.

Any advice appreciated.

You need to remove the actuator off the bellhousing first.

Then pull back on the clutch fork, it should snap off the throw-out.
The assembly should slide off then. The T.O. is snap-ringed into place on the pressure plate. They usually come pre-assembled.
