First, I want to thank everyone for being so patient, while waiting on information about 2012's RTTC Cruise! We are happy to announce 2012's RTTC Cruise will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012. We will leave our host hotel (La Quinta Inn) at 7:30am. From there, we will drive to the NHRA Hall of Fame in Pomona, CA. We'll tour the Hall of Fame. Afterwards, we will head to the Mission Inn Hotel in Riverside, CA, where we'll have brunch. Some of us will spend the rest of Sunday touring and checking out Mission Inn and the area around it. Hope that those who are signed up for RTTC will be able to make it!

Now, gentlemen, I am sure that you can reminisce back to your younger days and be there by 7:30am. :)

The NHRA Museum is quite cool and if you've never seen it, go. Same for the Mission Inn as there's lots of local history plus it's gorgeous.

Have fun and definitely post pics of the cruise for those that can't be there.

Haha, I thought the reminiscing would start at 7:30am when they wake up and realize they are in no shape to go anywhere.

Back to my younger days would also be a return to much looser DUI laws. Waking up by then might not be a problem. Being sober enough to drive might be.

Last year the cruise allowed everyone to drive the 100+ miles to get points for the event. With the cruise now after the event will those of us who drive the cars there from 100 miles plus get extra points?

And is the cruise included in the overall results again?

For those who are coming from out of town a strange destination not far from La Quinta is the Salton Sea. Its like visiting another world.

The St Regis Monarch Beach is also fairly close with some curb appeal.

The plans for the Mission Inn fell through so we had to improvise. The NHRA museum is still a go but they don't open until 10:00 AM so we don't have to leave so early.

Here is the link to the mapped route.
