Ok, maybe someone might be able to give me some insight on how to approach this. I bought a delay wiper switch from ebay a few years ago with the intentions of eventually swapping in a delay motor, but they are big and bulky. I am now thinking of finding a way to take a wiper motor from a newer 4th gen f-body, or similar, and putting it in my car. I am just unsure how to do this? here are some pictures of the switch. If anyone has some insight on how to go about this it would be great.

Here is a picture of the switch that I have and its connections. From what I have been told the larger connection would plug into the existing regular wipers and the smaller wire is what controlled the delay functions.

Ive tried and failed, by the new DSE kit, it took me 1 hour and it worked, 7 speeds and no frustration!

If you really have your mind set on making your own, DSE uses (as fas as I remember) a 2000-2002 Caddy wipermotor. There have been a couple of threads in the past.

Hella makes this intermittent wiper switch. I've included a link that has the wiring instructions - but you should be able to buy it local to where you are by quoting the Hella part number. I haven't fitted one of these yet - don't know whether they're any good ...

No matter which way you go, you have to remember these 2nd gens have a wiper that pauses before parking down under the lip of the hood.
