Hi all. Love the site and the style of Pro-Touring. Been doing the "treatment" to my 68 Dodge Charger for the past 12 years now and am hopefully gonna git 'er done by this summer. I bought it 13 years ago and decided to tear into it because stock is just too boring for me. It was a numbers matching car but nothing special so the purists can't hate. Its got all the standard stuff to make the car an all around modern musclecar. Anyway, love the site and am looking forward to doing some bench racing with ya'll. Have a good one.

I'm working on it. I'm old school and most of the pics are in an album. Thats as far as I'm at right now. Got some electrical issues that are pissing me off. Supercharger and exhaust are the next things going on then I'm pretty much done. In the meantime, I'm gonna drive it the way it is right now.

Wicked looking - What are your running for suspension?

Its an older version from Magnumforce Racing's tubular K-member setup. Tubular A-arms and 13" Wilwoods, rack and pinion, 13:1 powersteering pump, front motor plate. Great header and oilpan clearance. Tim Welborn from All-Time Racing fabbed a sweet aluminum oil pan. 9 quarts with trap doors and baffles. Anyway, hope to get her running soon.

That is badass! Question, wth is that air filter element? Also do I see an oil accumulator under the car?

Thanks guys. 72BB...yeah that's a dirt circle track "sock" for the air filter. It slips right over. I didn't like the white filter since it would clash with the green and black. I wanted something temporary until the supercharger gets slapped on. And yeah, that is a 3 quart accumulator underneath. Did not have room under the hood for it so I found a low spot underneath the car. I've got 12 quarts total...gonna be an expensive oil change!!

One awesome Charger. That's the car I want if I get a MOPAR. My Dad has a 70 Cuda and 73 Road Runner.

Chris, you can't go wrong with a Cuda. It's an iconic design. And the 2nd Gen Road Runners make a great pro-touring ride also. Is your pop planning on handing down one of the two for ya?

Hey sorry for the very late response. I thought I was subscribed to your thread and never received a notification. I was checking in to see if there were any new updates and saw your last post to me. The Cuda is set up for Pro-Touring and the Road Runner is staying as is. I've been trying to get him to do a little more with it though ;) As for handing them down to me. I do not know. I think when he gets older and can't drive them anymore he is probably going to sell them, but I might get my hands on one of them.
