i dunno man.. too many questionable modifications to that car.. theres things i like about it.. but too many i dont.
lots of money in it.. but that doesnt mean much to me..
so im not sure i can call it the ultimate pro touring roadrunner..
looks very pro-trailer to me

I can appreciate the work that went into this car but the overall outcome is a little gaudy for me. Ultimate pro-touring car by my definition would be Ron's $5000 Budget Mustang or any cars of a similar lineage.
Tons of awesome work, sensible mods, driven like stolen - all adds up to character for the car.

see that.. all that stuff and probably a house of money and thats what you get..
thats my issues with the protouring/streetrod approach.. the real PT guys are like Ron, OLC, Larry, MarkS, MaryP, Steve, Steve, Stever, and the Steveist.. and the like.. ahhaha they are all named Steve.
Streetfighter style is where its at.. you can keep your gold chain.
if you ask me.. it ISNT a pro touring car.

This car is featured in the latest issue of Hot Rod. Apparently they are planning on going land speed racing if I remember correctly.
It looks like it could do well in standing mile events... 2 shifts and the spray and its doing well over 200 mph. It also looks a little too pretty to be beat on and doesn't look like something you could jump in and drive anywhere.

Looks cool to me, don't care what they spent, their money not mine. Not sure why so much hate on the car, thing is probably fast as hell in a straight line. Not digging the chop.

It's different and extreme. As far as driving goes - don't doubt Spitzer. It will run and corner.
I think the details are so extreme that it turns people off. The billet grill and headlight surround is over the top.

lol! that seemed kind of lame too me! i like the stance, chopped top,the paint is awsome. the interior seemed a little over the top to me also. i would love to see it on an autocross and see how it would stack up against some of us guys with "normal" cars. is it me,or has pro-touring gotten a little out of hand?

who knows but there will always be people who take any hobby, and make it into something more in an over the top fashion and something less in a not so much fashion.
This is an example of over the top. And there are some cars on here that look like race car. But hey too each its own. As long as you love what drive, then I can't be mad!!

eh, looks like an ugly stretched out show car. I think Dan W. and his hotchkis roadrunner is the ultimate road runner. I still retains the classic looks and is one hell of a race car.
