I'm on a real tight budget, but I want to do it right. No point in doing this if its not dine right. My question is can I just buy so metal n weld in or buy the stamp replacements. Would homemade be strong enough???? Couple places I've talked to around me gave said just male some n go. Here a few pics I got. Sorry there from my phone.5495454955

I have nearly every piece of equipment you could ever need to build those floors. Brake, shear, bead roller, pullmax, and a planishing hammer.
I would buy those floors. They are so cheap and there really is a lot of shape to them compared to doing floors in an early ford. There is also a significant amount of strength in those floors compared to a full framed car meaning you fabrication/engineering skills should be up to par.
I am not saying YOU can't.....I am just saying I wouldn't.

Lol well if u won't say it I will. With this being a unibody car I know that the body is the streangth. I just didn't know if just putting done sheet metal in would be as strong or not. Common sense says no but I'm often wrong, just ask my wife.

just ask the guy that did the passenger side. lol
seriously, with al that rust in there its not much to build on. Full floor is what your gonna need. I just hope your rockers are ok.

Rockers are good far as I can tell. Trying to get area cleaned up to put car so I can work on it. The seat braces and trans tunnel are good, just where u put ur feet r gone. I'm searching for best deal on floors. Think I'm going to get the half sense trans tunnel is still good.
