Well my "trial" at local shop was NOT what I thought it would be. It was in shop where I used to work for a tire dealer, left back in 02 and it closed in like 04/05, he bought it,,, then recently bought local Buick/Pontiac dealership after Obama closed it.
Idiot works techs about 3 weeks paying cash before actually "hiring" them. Heck there was two guys who started new shop who used to work for him. They even told me he was goofy and maybe not as "honest" as I would want.
So found this website that list only dealers and this dealer is almost as close(4 more miles) than when I worked in Bloomington for Firestone, which I did love that shop, but two of the techs lied about me damaging a car.
Anyway this is Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep and hey since my mom got my grandmothers 99 LHS,,,,, its almost like fate I got an interview tomorrow (Wed) at 2:00PM.
Also my niece wrecked her full size Montero,,,man let me tell you its a bi*ch to find used or aftermarket parts for it. We found new rad support on Ebay and today I got a real solid start to ready it for install. Gotta go pick up a CO2/ARGON bottle for my mig welder and see if can find cheapy spot weld cutter as I cant find my rota broach. Then after all we searched for, finding some used parts we wind up with finding a complete front clip,,,,GRRRR.
We need new headlights, found new ones on alibaba.com from China but idiots wont get back to us.
But Ill have the majority of the truck back in shape this week if weather holds.
OH and D@MN Im sore from using air hammer and cut off wheel for nearly 5 hrs today. Been YEAR since I did any real body work,,,,kind of fun to get back into messing around so this year if I get this job I will definitely get some cars operating,,maybe even my truck legal and my bike,,,oh gotta have the bike legal this year,,I miss riding sooooo much.
Well wish me luck!
NEW dealer job here I come,,,,hopefully.

Good luck. I hope it all works out for you and you're able to get some toys back on the road.
