1978 nova

here is the car i am building 1978 chevy nova two door, is my first car that i got in 1989 was my work car for 9 years, stated out as 305 with th350, i later installed a gm create motor 350ho 330hp drove it that way for 5 years and then installed a 200r4over drive, about a year later i deside to redo the car, only problemat the time i had to do it in my brothers front yard,removed the a/c and heater box filled in the hole with a plate from dse for 74 and back nova, it worked, then i deside to make the car in to more of a handling car, so i got a t45-rs 5 speed for it, i found a place that i could work on it inside, put the sub frame back in it so i could move it to the shop, here are some more pics of my taking it back apart, and thanks to all the guys in chat room for helping me,

plans have changed, i got a killer deal on a 2005 5.3ls that has 8000 miles so it going in with th350 that was in this car before, here some pic of the test fit, using carshop plates, next i have to do is get cst-v oilpan

this why i need cts-v oil pan,still have to get the rights springs, just have set of old stocker that been cut down

my brother fixed the hole in the trans tunnel, found 4 speed hump from 77 4 door next is grinding and seam sealing

found my seats from 95 firbird

got the 5.3 tested and got the control arms intalled

103418 small update got a 2004 4.8 after I found out the 5.3 that I have had a rust in number one hole so it will have to be rebuilt, got the holley front drive set up very nice system, and edelbrock 80 mm throttle body and psi wiring harness and ecm and running hooker exhaust manifolds , been looking at new Muncie 4 speeds I deside to run m22w from 5speeds.com he builds new one with super cases and if I want a over drive later I will get a gearvenders

test fited the 4.8 in my nova this weekend so I can mock everything up tanks inc just starting selling a efi ready tank for the 75-79 x-bodys will be get one of them soon too

it has 101000 miles from 2004 chevy truck, it was clean inside when I put the oil pan on

it is spectre performance 9900 the main tube is back wards, you have to use a smaller filter , the kit is for 2004 truck with 4.8

started the fun part this week rewiring my car got it all layed out and run

small update I found a 1976 nova with factory bucket seats and got the seat brakets from the floor my twin brother got most of the put on this weekend for his weider ran out of gas, should be done by next sunday next deside on some seats

A update, cleaned and painted the firewall and under side of the car, got the sub frame cleaned and painted and put back in the car, test fitting my clutch and bellhousing , got the 4 speed bolted to motor, set have to set up the throw out bearing and put the intake and front drive back on, got fuel tank done now got get my fuel lines mocked up, and redo my stock control arms
