Shot with a T3i, two Dolica Tripods, and a time lapse controller. I figured out later about the camera adjusting its exposure and getting that flashing screen effect and I stopped it later in the video. Shot with a 24mm prime and a 18-55 EF-S for when I needed close in shots.

Let me know what you guys think. I plan on doing a full set of instructional videos later for some of my products and I was going to use this method to speed up my long sections. I don't like the cooking TV (And were back and its all finished) mentality in hot rod shows but I also understand you don't want to watch 10 hours of welding when a hyped up section would work fine. This video shows 12-14 hours worth of work in about 10 minutes.

Look for the little tags describing what part of the frame I'm working on
Make sure and watch it in 1080 or 720

It was a neat video and a different way of showing the amount of work that goes into something like that. Almost makes it look easy though... :) Thanks for sharing!

HAHAHA! I never thought about it like that. Did you watch her screwing with the TIG in my other video? She kept trying to play with the tig's hose. Cute but annoying. I don't have any video of it but she's also climbed my back once to get the end of the filler metal. Good thing she's a damn good hunter.

Funny thing. She hangs around and I do worry about her eyes till I saw her one day when my father was welding on a chopped and sectioned 54 Ford truck we're building as out prototype for those year model trucks and for the Texas Mile. I had my back to dad while he was working so I could fill him in on something and I see the cat (her name is "The Brain" BTW) sitting on top of the tool cage 12 feet up. As I watched her you could here the machine kick on for the pre flow and she would close her eyes. When the welding stopped she opened them again. Consistently the whole time I was standing there. Pretty smart cat for only 7 month old.

Thanks agian
