Here is a little update from my "Intro" thread. Bought this '69 from a buddy here in Pensacola about three months ago. It's a rust free car that had no problems. Just wanted to go the LS1 route. Here are the before stats:

Thanks man. Been a weekend project since right after Christmas. Coming along. AC is 90% done. New Lokar throttle pedal and black cable are installed. Next is dropping motor and tranny in! I'll put more pics up after the weekend.

Thanks guys! Didn't work on the car this past weekend but am hopefully installing the motor/tranny this saturday! Will put some progress pics up ASAP. And the intake was a b**ch to paint, but well worth it.

Update:

We just completed the swap and I drove the car home Saturday. After two LS1's, the third one is the charm. Had a freak hairline crack in the block of first motor and a bad head gasket that we had no idea about in the second motor. I'm now tying up the last loose ends like the exhaust, alignment, charging the a/c, and final tune. Car runs and drives great. A/C blows cold. Glad to be driving her!

We added a Z06 cam also!
