Hi everyone--first off thanks for all the good info on this site! I've been checking out pro-touring.com since 2002 just not a big poster I guess. I have a question about connecting my clutch master cylinder rod to the pedal. I'm wondering if I need to notch out a bit of the pedal stop to create clearance for the rod to bolt to the pedal in order to get a straight angle. I've attached some photos that might help understand my situation.
Next question is the travel of the clutch master cylinder is pretty short compared to the 1st gen clutch. Is this going to be a problem? Should I fab up a pedal stop so I'm not jamming my foot into the master cylinder every time I shift?
Thanks in advance everyone!!

It looks like the master is mounted to close to the fire wall, and slightly off by a couple degrees as well as mounted a little to far to the divers side of the car (hard to tell from the pictures). On mine I used DSE's mounting bracket and had a tab welded on my pedal to connect to the pushrod. While there is more then one way to do this, this is how I and many others have adapted the clutch master to the clutch pedal. https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif

Ok, just got in from the garage from doing my clutch pedal hook up. I ended up shortening the rod on the LS master. I have the DSE bracket and had to shorten my rod by 1.5" then drilled a 3/8" hole approx 1/2" to 3/4" above the stock hole in the clutch pedal. Again thats witb the DSE bracket, yours will be slightly different dimensions.

Im going thru a similar install right now as well. I am using the hydraulic conversion kit from Kiesler. Their master has I think 1.4 inches of travel so obviously if the pedal can travel more than that some type of stop will have to be fabricated. I am also using the top hole of the clutch pedal. Keisler's master has a machined adaptor that corrects for the angles, it looks as though it will work out real well

Use DSE's firewall bracket with a 99-02 Camaro clutch master cylinder. Connect to the car using Speed Tech Performance's heim joint adapter.
