Some cool pics. The last pics of the yellow '69 Camaro is Steve Cook's car. He is local to me.

Thanks for the pics. They are huge on my screen so its hard to see.
Is it me or are the 69s in the photos starting to look like street rods?. It also seems like twinsting had a little influence. Not a critiscism, just an observation.
I still havent found the mustang or the challenger that Steveo talked about.

sweet pics wish I could have made it this year.
I have about 60 pics from 05 Goodguys if anyone has a place to host them. I don't have a hosting home. : (
Video is underway too. ;)
video work is complete.
It's about 15 minutes worth.
Comes in 120Mb, or 60MB, or 41MB sizes. :) better quality with the bigger stuff of course, but it's all the same video.
They need a hosting home if anyone's interested.

Me too. I have a bunch of pics but no where to put them. Larry...assuming you see this, if I mailed a CD to you, would you consider posting them?
Anyone see that bad@ss Mustang and Camaro that were parked next to each other? I need to find that pic...they were increadible.

Any pictures of the Foose/Unique Performance 69 Camaro? Anxious to see how that came out.
Kris
not here man. I didn't even know about it until the very end of the day when I was walking out. Noticed it on the uniqueperformance trailer, and there's pic or two at their website.
Wish I was able to get pics of it!

What is with those HUGE wheels on the 69's!!! I know you guys have been commenting but I just looked....these are beautifully built cars, but those huge rear wheels just ruin it for me!!!

I dig the big rollers, the black car is insane
You mean this one:

these were pretty big too....

I couldn't get good pics of these two with their 20" rims, the cars were parked too close together, and the people traffic was thick...

Here are some of the pics I took from Columbus. The engine shots of the 572 with the hogan intake are from the Foose Camaro. There were too many people gathered around the car at the unveiling to get any pics of the outside of the car.

Those are some great pics, Andy. Thanks!

Yea, I would have given that guy an award for sure.. either way it looks photoshoot worthy..
The Columbus show is an example of "not seeing the forrest through the trees".. too many cars (if that is possible)

there seems to be a sudden trend in the Show-Touring style that says "lets look like a Hot Wheels car." the offset and oversized rims make what would normally be a great looking car look goofy. Its like an odd-ball mix of the street rod look, with the big and little look from pro-street and rims from Pro-touring. they just dont mesh well in my opinion. in other words...I DON'T LIKE IT :yeah:

You did catch that that car has a set of "show rims" and a set of "go rims".. right? (the Challenger)..
I dont love the look of 22's either but "joe public" sure does and the trend seems to be to keep pushing the envelope on being more outrageous..

personally, and I have not seen the car in person but it has bit too much rake and it makes it look kinda like a muscle machine in a way but then again I love big wheels and alloway builds a nice car so you can't help but not like it!
Steve what are the go rims??

:dunno:
Im sure Craig would know.. I do believe Katz picked the go set so maybe he will post up..
It does have a lot of rake.. which for a showcar I suppose is the right "over the top" way to do it.. I would love to see it with some right sized forgelines on it (black centers).. that would look badass..

If Katz was involved, there is no doubt that thing will be able to tear up the streets.

You guys are more than welcome for the pics I took. The yellow mustang was parked in a lot you had to cross when you came in from the 72 and later parking lot. I took the pics on the way in Saturday morning and the car was gone when we came back out for lunch at noon. I have a few more pics of it, but my web host will not let me log in at the moment. I will load them into this thread when the ftp server lets me back in.
This was my first trip to Columbus and it was a great show. My girlfriend and I sorta just stumbled into the award ceremony at the end of the day on Saturday. At first is was just nice to get out of the sun and into some air conditioning. Then I start looking around and I see Art Morrison, Troy Trepanier and Chip Foose standing around watching it as well! I thought that was one hell of a cool way to end the day.
