Hi all, I'm brand spankin' new to the forum, and wanted to introduce myself here first. I'm Allen, and I am currently in the very beginning phases of work that I'd like to do with my car. It's a 1966 Mustang Coupe that my dad bought new, but unfortunately now I have the privelage of calling it mine (R.I.P Dad) I'm looking forward to seeing/reading/learning what can and can't be done with it... i'm not dumb when it comes to cars, but I wouldn't call myself an expert either, just a guy with a dream! Thanks for reading....

OK, bare with me here..... so my dad bought the car new in 1966, and he and my mom drove it for a couple years and then he sold it to his brother. My uncle owned it until 2007, but had let it sit under an old blue tarp for approx. 19 years.. basically neglected it. He calls me one day and ask if I'd be interested in buying it since it was my dad's car, and I tell him I'd love to have it, but I also need to see it in person incase it was to far gone from sitting so long. I made the 2 hour drive to find this....

It's not much, and I've got A LOT of work ahead of me, but I'm very excited to see where this project goes... Thanks for looking and reading, hopefully one day soon I'll start a project thread and get some things accomplished.
