Installing 05 gto door handels on a first gen

Ok so I know it can be done my question to those who have done it is where did you start ??? I was thinking of drawing lines of where the linkages are on the bucket and then line them up with the stock linkages for the correct horazontal positin, does that seem right ?

Only input I can give is....Commodore (GTO or G8) handles have a reputation for breaking if pulled on too hard...just be careful with them when you get them fitted up.

Yea I heard some are plastic but the gto ones I have are metal thankfully
