Laser jet? Washington area, anyone.

I've got a couple of aluminum pieces about .080" thick I'd like to laser cut words completely through, do you know anyone in Washington that does this?

I was under the impression you water jet aluminum as the laser is too hot to cut aluminum and it just melts.

you can laser cut aluminum- in fact, you need to turn the power up compared to steel due to the way the aluminum absorbs and dissipates the heat.
any place that laser cuts steel can laser cut aluminum, but you might have better luck finding a place that does waterjet cutting since places that cater to small customers will be more likely to have that than a laser.
