Does anyone know if any of the diecast companies are making 70+ Camaros? I know there are a few different ones but they have been in production for years. I was looking for some new ones. I think it would be awesome if they started picking up on the Pro Touring wave and start producing some of the well known cars that are out there. I would def buy up some "Bad Pennys", Mary Pozzi's red 73, Brian Finch's 71, and the list goes on and on. If anyone knows where I could get some "new" 2nd Gen Camaro diecast cars please let me know.
What do you guys and gals think....... should Lane, GMP, Ertl and the others start making some Pro Tour cars?

Sounds like a good thought. No idea how to make it happen, though. My car has had more than enough publicity and there are cars far more deserving than mine.

Hey Mary, I don't know where to go and try to get this off the ground. I'm going to try and get in touch with the poeple over at GMP and Lane to see if there's an interest. I know being the Florida State Saleen Club of America rep, we were trying to get these guys to build some Foxbody Saleens and they seemed interested but the market is rather narrow for those cars. I think mainly the owners would be the ones buying those cars, but I think these Pro Touring cars would reach a broader market. If anyone has any suggestions or knows anyone in the diecast business please shoot me a pm. I would love to see cars like Mary's (I'm a little partial to the Camaros... I own a 70...lol) and a few others too. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.

I would love to see Big Red (1st gen I know but still my favorite Camaro) as well as any of the ones listed in the OP. GMP has some Street Fighter 1st gens that are PT themed.

I'm probably wrong but there is a die-cast of Big Red already out there.

There is a company that puts out a series of 1/18 cars called American Muscle. They actually have the Baldwin Motion 70 Camaro in yellow and I almost bought one. They are a bit pricey but they are nice replicas. I believe if you go to jst about any swap meet that has a vendor for diecast cars you will be able to find them. KB toys I think carried the brand for awhile.
Just keep looking and you will find several of the kinds of cars you are looking for.

I have a 70 Z28 and a Red & White Baldwin Motion car. Although those are cool cars I would like to see Lane or GMP make some PT cars. This hobby has gotten very popular and I was just wondering if anyone shared the same thoughts as me.
