I know there are people here building Chevelles and such. Anyone looking for a boxed, stronger frame?

I,m unemployed right now and took a stroll through a couple of the Pick a part type yards here in Los Angeles looking for some cash worthy parts.

What would a rust free bare frame be worth?

El Camino frames are different from Chevelle frames.

If you get a $100 for an El Camino frame consider yourself lucky. Just finding SOMEONE to buy would be a science project in itself!

Actually, El Camino frames only need minor surgery to fit under a Chevelle. the rear section has to be shortened. and If my frame wasn't already done I would take one in a heartbeat since they are factory boxed frames. I looked for one for months locally and had no luck finding one.

I have done a couple swaps. Its a lot easier than patching an old rusty frame. Maybe Ill grab one of the mid 70s frames and see if its worth the work.

64-67 El Camino frames only take minor surgery to work with convertibles, two and four doors, but 68-72 are a different wheel base so the value isn't as high.
