I'll be using a 4th gen shifter & console in my 68 firebird. What would be the best way to go about wiring in a nuetral safety switch to the shifter? I thought of trying to mock up a 1st gen style but not sure if there are other options. I'll be using modified factory harness and computer. My 69 has 6 speed & I was able to use the original nuetral safety at the clutch pedal. Scott

I will be doing the same mod. soon. I was looking at the painless wiring one in Summit-or-Jegs.
Seems to be pretty straight forward...neatral switch and back up lights....mounts right to tranny pan with a switch.
