I have a air-ride system with auto levelers and shock wave shocks. Has anyone had any luck with this setup on a 67 camaro ? The rear end is corvette. IRS

Those C4 set ups are REALLY fussy about alignment. If the alignment is anything less then perfect the car will raise or squat in reverse or forward changing the rear ride height constantly. Been there, done that, hate it. I can only imagine the havoc that would create with a Level pro if that happens to be the issue you are having.

I talked with Brett from Airide at the hiedt's event and they are now making shocks for the C4 setups. While you may like the idea of raising and lowering your car it really isn't necessary for good handling in your case. I need to lower my car a bit but it has proven to be capable of holding the corners as well as all the other cars on the track I have had the pleasure of following. You can go to youtube and see for yourself, just type in Cormaro in the search box.
I know my car would handle just a tad better if it was lowered an inch but it would also hit all the speed bumps at all the places I go for cruise nights and the bad roads in Illinois with poor parking lot entrances it just doesn't make all that much of a benefit.
There is also not much room for the shocks much less an airide system.
It's a thought I have had and put to rest many times. I sure it could be done but listen to Frank, he knows his stuff and your car can keep up with the rest of us if you have enough engine and gearing!!
