Those of you that have put the 4L80 in their 68-72 A body, did you have to modify the trans tunnel or did it fit in there with just some pounding and reforming? Any help here guys I have painting to do in the next day or two and Im trying not to do the same work twice.

It's an easy fit. Light clearancing required around the cooler fittings.

Did you ever get your 4l80e into your Chevelle?
I'm putting mine together this week, looks like i will be adding some 2in's to the tranny tunnel. This is mainly due to ride height & trying to keep everything tucked up close to the car. The last thing I want is my oil pan & trans pan hanging below the body...
