Ok while the main bodywork will be painted using a base coat clear coat system what would be best for other parts. Firewall, inner fenders, core support, etc ... I was thinking about using a single stage urethane, with a little clear in the last coat for some gloss, for these areas like I already used on my roll cage bars. Which would be more durable/appropriate for these areas ???

These parts will also be painted the same color as the body.

Why not use the same BC/CC the rest of the car is getting? BC/CC is pretty tough stuff. If you do it right the prep work is the same so there is nothing "better" out there in my opinion.

Thanks. That's what I was curious about. Which was tougher. BC/CC or single stage urethane. Plus alot of these parts will be painted as I go along. But the body will be painted all at once naturally.
