My new 68 RS is missing most of the parts to make the headlight doors functional. After looking at the cost and complexity of the restoration of this assembly, I was wondering about having a custom grill made that would fit the RS front sheetmetal. If I were to do this, do you think that the standard 68 headlight assemblies could be used? If so then I could keep the indicators on the lower valance and just have a clean grill between the headlights.
