AFX? The car already has Hotchkis uppers set up for the tall spindles, so I want to keep them, but eliminate the problems associated with the existing spindles. We're planning to use C6 brake components.

I have AFX spindles and really like them. Tobin at KORE3 has some nice C5/C6 brake packages for them and is great to deal with. L&H Kustoms also makes tall spindles.

Thanks, I just wanted confirmation from someone who has used them in this application. I agree, Tobin is great to deal with. I'll be ordering from him on Lonestar, Sabre, and a GN I'm working on.

you may have to change the upper control arms as the King Pin Inclination angle on the B body spindle is different than the AFX Spindle that is why you had to purchase special upper control arms for the B body spindles as well the upper ball joint taper is different.

This car came in with this setup (done many years ago), and I'm trying to reuse the arms if possible. But, if another tall option won't work with them, we'll have to change them.

You can use the Hotchkis uppers, but I'm sure Mark will give the reasons why there are better options. I sold my Hotchkis setup after talking to him and ordered the SPC uppers with L&H spindles. FYI, the spindles are a little delayed so you'll need to be patient....
