We have one of our prototype radiators for sale. We built this for a 62-67 Nova with an LS conversion. The customer we built it for did not want the steam port, so we built it without one. It was also for a manual transmission, so no trans cooler was installed. He ended up changing to an automatic so we built him another one, so this one is available for sale. Normally they retail for $425 (prior to our price increase), and we will sell for $350 with Pro-Touring Member discount.
This Crossflow Radiator fits the following:
1962-1963-1964-1965-1966-1967 Chevrolet Nova
Manual transmissions (no transmission cooler in this specific unit)
LS Conversion V8 (LS1, LS2, LS3, LS4, LS6, LS7, LM7, LQ4, LQ9, etc.) V8 models (no steam port on this unit)
This is a bolt-in swap, no cutting or sheet metal modifications required
Utilizes existing mounting locations
NOTE: This unit is one of our original prototype radiators, and as such has a few minor scuffs & minor visual imperfections (none of which will affect performance). This radiator is being listed for lower than our regular price as a result of these imperfections. Also, since this radiator is aluminum you can easily polish out the scratches and buff it to a mirror finish.
At RnD Fabrication, our radiators are designed to be bolt-in upgrades that not only cool your big motor, but also look great in your engine bay. We start with extra-wide dual 1” cores and weld those to aluminum side-tanks. We then add engraved cover plates to give a finished look. Our covers can also be polished for a mirror finish! These radiators are also available for various engine swaps, just tell us what motor you want to run and we should be able to adjust the location of the inlet and outlet to match. Plus, our radiators come standard with a built-in automatic transmission cooler (note that this unit was built for a manual transmission, so no cooler is present). Alternatively, we can make them with any transmission cooler at the regular price.
