I recently found this site after searching for some wheel and suspension information.

I'm from Ottawa, Ontario. I have a couple of Oldsmobiles.

My current project is a 1972 Cutlass S Sport Coupe (2-door post). It is a 350/th350. I bought it in Arizona in 2010. So far, I've worked on the engine (replaced timing gears and chain, swapped from 2bbl to Quadrajet with Performer intake and installed an HEI distributor). It also spent a lot of 2011 at the body shop.

Once the Cutlass is back together, and the budget is replenished, I am thinking of improving the suspension on it and getting some larger wheels and tires. Right now, it just has the factory Cutlass suspension components. I do have a set of 1" lowering springs that I hope to install this spring.

I was thinking of doing a build thread for the Cutlass, but there won't be any pro-touring components to it for probably at least a year.

Here it is when I went to look at it in AZ.

My other car, my first car, is a 1983 Delta 88 Royale 4-door sedan. Its been repainted the original two-tone blue. It was bought new by my Grandfather. He did not order many options on it (no pw, plocks, A/C) but he did order the F/41-Firm Ride and Handling suspension package which included different springs, shocks, front sway bar and a factory rear sway bar. He also got the 2-tone paint and the Olds 307 V8 with 200-4R.

Forgot to say, I am looking forward to learning from the members here, so that when I do get to work on the suspension, I do things right.
