Well since the holidays and New years are near, Chris and I have decided to jump into gear and hit the floor running. Here is a little insite/ backround as to who we are and where we are from...
Cris Gonzalez, owner of JCG Restoration & Customs-a native of South Texas, moved to Oxnard, CA in 1996 to pursue his dream of building cars & making it a career.
He started by working in the Sales department at Wilwood Engineering & was then promoted to Project Coordinator for the Research & Development dept. While working in sales he developed relationships with some of best car builders & vendors for suspension components through out the country. Cris worked at Wilwood for 10 years.
During this time, Cris was able to buy a 69 project Camaro that he restored & semi customized. While building his Camaro it gave him the opportunity for “all” to see his talent for restoring & customizing.
It was then that Cris realized that he needed to take a few steps forward and start building his own business. While still working at Wilwood, Cris managed to do this after hours.
He started out slowly, with a 1000 sq ft shop with two cars at a time. This went on for a couple of years.
While juggling, a full time job, his own business, & family -In 2006 he decided to move from after hours to full time at JCG Restoration & Customs.
Present:
Chris is experiance in the Hotrod, Muscle car industry bringing a vast amount of knowledge in braking and suspension fields.
2012 Expect to see alot of exciting things come from JCG Projects, Builds, and Products!!!!
Thanks,
Chris,
