Bloody thrashing of the motor coaches...SWEEETT. :3gears:
Bugger the studio audience sequences! :sad4:

The interesting race sequences pretty neat to. This episode was a Rally car against a bobsled and a Astonn Martin DB9  vs the French bullet train from London to Monte Carlo. DB9 wins by 1 hour!!!

This is probably so :wtlw:

Well - I feel they are quite biased, like when it comes to american cars, who always get bad reviews. We have TG here in Norway as well, but I rarely watch it. I'm not too fond of english humor, or that they never find anything wrong with their domestic cars.

I sensed a bit of bias as well but still honesty if that’s possible i.e., They loved the Porsche GT3 yet didn't like the fact that the "Germans" were going about it in completely the wrong direction by having the motor mounted in the rear of the car. Yet the Aston Martin DB9 was gushed about endlessly and points were made regarding the fact that the motor was exactly were it is "supposed" to be. These comments showed a form of bias, but in the one episode I've seen they still gave props where props were do.
I haven't seen them drive or test and American cars so I can say anything about their opinions on them. I will say regrettably however that I am as blue blooded American as they come and yet I have a hard time finding a high quality American made vehicle that can stand up to the foreign offerings out there. i.e. I love the new Mustang but the interior is thin, weak, and falls flat when faced with scrutiny. The GT40, Viper, and Vette are probably our only "contenders" in the "High" performance arena.

I love that show. I wish us Yanks could pull off something like that. Maybe we need more crumpets in our diet.

Crumpets don't work unless you have tea to activate them!

I tried to watch the last 2 episodes but I just find the show annoying. (Not only that, but what's with the commercials every 2 minutes?) Any good segments of the show can usually be found online so I don't see the need to watch it.

I saw an episode a few weeks back when they compared a Jaguar a Chrysler Hemi and the Vauxhall Monaro (i.e Holden Monaro, i.e. Pontiac GTO).

what is fun with these guys is that they really trash cars they test, they drive the wheels of the car.

In this case the Hemi was doomed, the Jag unexpectedly poor and the Winner was the Monaro.

The guys at the show are very Pro-Brit or Pro-Euro and to have them judge an American Engined car to win is amazing.

I just love that show and sometimes they can be extreemely funny. Like teaching 80-year old grannies to make burnouts. Throwing cars with catapults on a caravan or other crazy things.

They are simply cool.

Ive seen several of those shows but mainly on the internet. One I liked a lot was when he was on Nurburgring. His excitement at the very end was just bloody awesome.

They pretty much trash any American car, and they never stop the "American cars can only go straight and can't corner to save their lives", despite the fact that they have tested the CTS-V, viper, and corvette, the typical conclusion for them is "the car is fast in the straights, corners great, and is cheap compared to its competition, but for some reason we just don't like it.” The version on discovery sucked because they had to take out 20 min of the show for commercials, in England the show is 1 hour of full show, no commercials. You can get those episodes on bit torrent. All in all the show isn't that bad, if you can take the America bashing (they refer to us as 'the colonies')

I like the girl with the gap between her teeth. It must be the brit accent, 'cause she's not all that.
She can drive though.

My biggest complaint about the show is that every other car they test on their "track", it's wet outside. While it's fun to see about any car in a power slide, I'd like to be able to see them compare apples to apples on a dry surface. Location location location...
