I bought this car out of Tennessee in January 2005 from the 2nd owner, his wife drove the car. I was told by him the car was an original SS but being a 69 there’s no way to prove this nor does it make any difference to me. Was a Tennessee car all its life until I bought it and is extremely clean to prove it. There’s not a spot of rust or repair anywhere and no undercoating either. Previous owner replaced the quarters in 1997 when they restored the car with nos gm pieces stickers are still on the insides too, from what I was told it was just a few pinholes but they replaced them anyway. After I had the car about a year I decided I wanted a darker blue (it was the original code 51 blue) and stripped the car to metal re did the body work and painted it a 05 gto midnight blue. This car has been my baby since I bought it, never thought I’d sell it and never spared an expense. However last May I finished a street rod project that took 9 years to build and this rarely gets driven now. That being said I don’t need to sell it. You can get in this car and drive it anywhere any time with no issues, everything works and is very dependable.

Engine/Trans
-502 I bought from jesel it was one of there test motors and full of good stuff, and they rebuilt everything before I bought it. Estimated at 625 hp
-GM Forged crank
-Scat h beam rods 6.385
-Je forged pistons
-1.062 diameter solid lifters (stock is .842) to handle today’s higher spring pressures without failure on the -street
-AFR 335 heads full roller rockers
-Comp cam 660, 630 lift duration 113 lsa
-1000 cfm demon carb
-Custom made stainless headers to fit properly with the AFR’s raised exhaust port
-3in magnaflow exhaust and x pipe
-200 4r transmission by Art Carr of CPT transmissions built to hold 1000 hp with 3000 stall converter
-Air cleaner has a custom made 540 sticker I had a 540 in this car a couple years ago and had it made, after changing engines I left it because I didn’t want to ruin the sticker. The 540 was removed for my street rod project.

Chassis
-Qa1 adjustable coil over’s on the front
-13 in wilwood front brakes with 6 piston calipers
-12 in wilwood rear brakes with 4 piston calipers and internal parking brake

Other
-EMS billet hood hinges in black
-Factory A/C car that I converted to the new vintage air setup just last year. Works much better than factory plus it cleans up the engine bay/ firewall which was welded up smoothed and painted. Also made custom brackets to relocate the a/c compressor on the passenger side just below the alternator. Just keeps the engine bay looking a little cleaner.
-Alpine radio and speakers, 6 in kick panel speakers 6x9’s in rear package tray
-B&M hammer shifter
-Recarro leather and suede seats
-Cut pile carpet

I'm building a 68 Chevelle & I'm looking to do the same wheel combo (Torq Thrust II). Do you know what the wheel off set is on your car?
Thanks
