This pic is from the catalog. I bought this tank from Ricks Camaros. It is used. I switched to a ricks Stainless gas tank. I can send pics of actual tank if needed. I paid $550. I'm asking $250 must pick up.

Camaro Gas Tank, EFI Converted, With Evaporative Emissions Control, 1970-1973

Direct Replacement
18 Gallon / 68 Liters
Size 40 1/8" X 20 5/8" X 7"
0-95 Ohm Fuel Sending Unit
With Vent Pipe

Electronic fuel injection seems to be all the rage these days. Everywhere you look, Camaro's are running around with LS motors, LT1's and Ramjets. Converting over to these modern systems means more reliability, power, better gas mileage and a dressier engine bay. Converting over usually means modification to the fuel tank at great time and expense. These ready to install fuel tanks utilize a factory style stamped fuel tank and electric fuel pump that produce 85-115 PSI at 50-60 gallons per hour. All you have to do is install it in the place of your original, run 12 volts and fuel lines and your fuel system is ready. No guess work, no more headaches.

What would need to be done to put the earlier tanks into the later models? 74-81? I noticed that they don't make this tank for the later models.

It is the trunk floor that is the big issue - 70-73 is flat and in 74 the tank was redisgned to hold more fuel so it steps up on the right side and causes the trunk floor to do the same. I plan on putting the 70-73 pan into my trunk to be able to run the earlier style tank. I'd imagine that you could fabricate some brackets to do the swap without changing the floor pan.....has anybody done that before?

George if you want the tank you can have it. I am not ready at this time, just wondering for the future. I like the idea of having the efi pump in the tank.
