1949 Chevrolet 5 window Pick Up Pro Touring build. Building my dream truck to run in the autocross events and road corse events as I live near VIR raceway in Roxboro, NC.
The chassis was built by TCI. 9" with 3:73, Flaming River power steering.
My motor is a GM performance LSX 454 with a Braswell carburetor.
I ordered today a Keisler T56 Magnum 6 speed transmission
My bed was built by Pro's Pick.
Thanks, Gary Perkins

Very nice build Gary. Maybe too nice for your intended use. At least that what they have been telling me about my El Camino for the last few years at the road courses. I run mine at VIR some or at least I did Until I bought an old racecar to beat on. Your truck is gonna be a thing of beauty. You may have seen my 57 Chevy truck on here recently. It is a daily driver. Your's looks show quality. Great choice of components. Want to hear how the tranny works out for you as there may be one of those in my future. If there is anyway I can help you out I'm right down the road.
