better be a long cable if it has to be hooked to a laptop to work. Would be nice to have a decent sized screen. Need one that can hook up to an Iphone!

I would think they will have them for Iphones soon, if not already. That would be an ideal tool, inexpensive and everyone could use them.

Someone get the iPhone deal and tell us!! LOL. I got an extension cable for mine to hook to my radio/docking station and It will charge, but won't "play" thru the cable for some reason.

There's also cheap, smart phone apps, and related cable adapters, that will hook a smart phone to a modern cars computer, and report diagnostic codes, and their meanings (check engine light cause etc.). I'd be surprised if they also don't already have a smart phone app for tuning modern cars too.
