Door to pillar gap! need pics please.

I am working on 69 camaro, the gap on the pass side is a little tight like 1/8 in, and on the drivers side it is about 1/4. I would appreciate it if anybody has any pics the same gaps on there car for me to compare. I am thinking that I will have to split the front edge of the door and move it back and reweld on the pass side. I put door skins on everything else lines up pretty good. Just afraid after it gets primer and paint it will be a problem. Has anyone else ran into this on there 69 camaro.

ya, I worked in bodyshop for years at toyota gmc dealer and I think they have to fit like the newer vehicles, I already spent 2 hours working on the door to qtr edge, I had to weld down the edge of the door then grind it and use body file to get it nice and even, patience is the key to these projects! and good help from pro-touring buddys!

Thanks, that helps alot, think I will cut the front edge of the door and move it back, I have a mini-airsaw and welder, lol I can do it just want it to be right, ( as the old saying goes do what's right not what's easy) thanks again
