The tank will be cleaned before it goes to it's new owner to get rid of those marks you see as they are from just boxes being stored underneath the tank.

I wonder how close this would be to a 76 monte carlo. Any suggestions. I would be really interested if it would work with only minor mods.

Scotty I'm not sure but what I can suggest is to give Chris at Rock Valley a call as he can let you know if it's a direct fit and if not how close it is as he knows his tanks. You can then decide if it will work for you or not.

Travis the tank is for a 68-72 so it will fit a 69 Chevelle.

No cutting or any modifications. Just put on the straps with two bolts and you are ready to go. This isn't a poor quality EBay tank.
