It has been some time since I posted and alot has changed. My name is Tim and I'm from Wichita Kansas. My project is my high school car (I'm 45 now.) :) It's a 69 camaro that I bought the summer of 82 . It was black with fender flares on all for corners fiberglass L88 350 and a four speed, wide bf goodrich tires with western bullet rims. It was definitly a 80s custom. It got put in storage in 87 and suvived a couple moves but somehow I still have it. I always told myself that someday I would love to rebuild my old car but not until I had the money to do it right (nice dream.) One day my wife told me to do something with that car or get rid of it which was all the encouragement I needed. The car came apart and parts got bought, so far it has been stripped, new full quarters, full floor, tail pan, mini tubbed, rockers, all new front fenders hood and so on. It has been seven years since I started on it and I love to work on it I learn something new around every corner. I have purchased a 12 bolt rear end with 3:42 gears, fuel injected 350 with 700r4, the front subframe has been powder coated and rebuilt with disc brake conversion. All I'm wanting right now is a solid driver, something to remind me of my youth With the power and handling that this car deserves. The car has come along way and has far to go but when its done I will be able to say I did it all myself and it was my High School Car. Wish me luck.

We are of the same path.

The only difference is that I had some help on my project..

I have had my car since 1983 and many life changes..

Welcome...
