89 Ford 302 HO, stock bottom end, E303 cam, have 1.6 RR's may go to 1.72 rockers or an F303, 725 Demon carb on a single plane intake with A 3-3500 stall. Would like to keep original style headers and my intake and may go with a nitrous shot. Looking for head recomendations, aluminum or cast rion. Something that will just bolt on for the most part. Thanks!

AFR's are the best for a small block ford, I put a set on my gen1 lightning and gained 85hp at the rear wheels with nothing else.

I'll second the AFR heads as top of the line.
I built a 392 stroker with a fairly small cam (255@050) and made well over 600HP @ the flywheel in a roadrace car

Cam wise I would be looking at something in the 230@050 range with a wide 112 to 114 Lobe Seperation.
don't worry about the lift, its not that important.
Take a look at the CompCams 35-556-8
http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Search/CamDetails.asp?PartNumber=35-556-8

In general I would stay away from 1.7 rocker arms... more problems than they are worth

I will give you this warning - the weak link on all smallblock Fords is the connecting rods. Stock they are cast and WEAK. Plan on going though the bottom end of the motor before getting too crazy

I figured AFR's would be the best bet. They are a bit more expensive, but pretty much just bolt right on with the 165 pedestal mounts. The Twisted Wedges come out on top on all that I have read, but AFR's come a close second on all too.

The bottom will be gone through for sure down the road. Want to play around with the nitrous first. Would rather grenade an old bottom than a new bottom.

That site didnt give any cam characteristics, like power band, etc. Do you know what they would be?

I would say that you are looking at a power band of approx 2000-6000RPM with that cam.
It will be pretty smooth at idle. Very wide torque curve
