Engine Paint on bbc in place

I have a bb which has the classic chevy orange (painted about 2yrs ago during rebuilt) its pretty clean, but I am considering trying to paint it in place to match the exterior color of the car: Cortez Silver. I really don't want to pull the engine to accomplish this. Is this a bad idea? Suggestions on paint type (was hoping to find a matched rattlecan that would work).
