has anyone on here swapped from a small block chevy to an lt1? it seems to me like it would be one of the most straightforward swaps...

how tough is it to convert to fuel injection? would there be any advantages to running a carbed lt1 over a traditional SBC?

The owner of lt1intake.com that is mentioned in the article had a nice operation going which he currently has up for sale. Hopefully someone will take it over. Anyhow, he had a nice conversion to adapt the LT1 intake to earlier small blocks by machining a distributer hole into the intake.

lt1 swap should be pretty reasonable $, since most people want the ls1.

I converted my intake about a year ago to a distributor, I had bought one of the LT1intake.com conversions and when I installed it the whole was to far to one side. So I decided to do it myself the right way.
you can see pictures of it on the website I made for my SS.
