From some of my previous posts I figured you were the guy to ask. I wanted to paint my ABS Covans Dash for my 69' camaro. I also wanted to cover up the original heater control cutout before paint. My questions are...

1. Will the paint adhere to the ABS Plastic (gloss black)?
2. What should I use to cover the hole and what should I use to attach it(Plastic adhesive, etc.)?
3. What should i use on the backside to stiffen up the plastic(Truck bed liner or dynamat)?

You can by a plastic adhesion promotoer in spray cans from automotive paint supply stores, then you can paint it with a high quality spray bomb any color you like. I would buy my spray bomb from the paint store also. I know Sherwin Williams pumps there paint into cans. Covering the heater control hole, you mean in the trim plate? I need to think on that, maybe a piece of smoked plexi?
