This time last year I was about ready to fire up the Olds 455 in my project car. A few turns and almost a year later the car has a BBC instead that is almost finidhed. I just need to figure out the front accesory drives. Here are a couple pics of the new powerplant.

Dash and power plant look great. What prompted the switch to the BBC?

Originally I wanted to run a BBC but came across a good deal on a complete rebuilt Olds 455 that had been converted to FI and had a serpentine belt setup. It looked really impressive. Well, we had a few problems before ever firing the Olds so one thing led to another and I decided to just sell it in pieces and build what I really wanted.
