SOLD! I got my Camaro mini-tubbed, so now it's time for a wheel and tire upgrade. I have a set of Billet Specialties SLG45 wheels http://www.billetspecialties.com/item.asp?cid=16&scid=29&pid=993 with Nitto 555 tires mounted and ready to go. This package is 5 years old and I have about 6000 easy street miles on them. The original cost was $3100. I'm letting the setup go for $1900 + actual shipping cost.

Sizes as follows:
Rear 18x10" w/ 5 5/8" backspace with 275/35/18 tires
Front 18x9" w/ 5 1/8" backspace with 235/40/18 tires

Tires are in great shape, look like new. The only blemish.... Both rear tires have some slight grooves on the inside sidewall when the rear articulated going over curbs, etc. This happened the 1st week, and once discovered, I did some slight massaging of that lower area. Since then it just rubs off some undercoating. I have about 5/8" clearance on the inside, so it's pretty tight. The grooves are not thru to the cord, so it's just cosmetic.

On the rear I have leaf springs w/ 2 1/2" drop. On the front I have a stock subframe w/ Global West upper arms, 3" drop. No rubbing on the front.

PM me for shipping estimate, more details or pictures.

Will the front fit on a stock 69 style frame?

Yes, I have a stock frame. I had to install Global West upper control arms because the wheel rim rubbed on the front of the stock uppers at full lock. Other arms might also work, such as Speedtech. There is no rubbing even with my 3" drop and hard cornering.

I have a 67, with stock subframe and rear, do you know if they will fit?

My understanding is that the 67 and 68 have a little less room in the outer fender wells than a 69. The wheels would clear the suspension components, but you might not be able to lower the car as much as mine. All cars are a little different, so I can't guarantee a perfect fit. A friend runs 18x9.5 rear and 18x8 front with BFG KDW's in these tire sizes on a '67 and has no problem. The KDW's are wider in section width and tread width than a Nitto.

You could try searching the wheel/tire forum or asking that question there.

Thanks,
Gary
