Use them all the time. I have no pictures though, it's just not that exciting. Minimum bend radius on the tubing that houses the cable is 3" so keep that in mind. The hard part I think will be getting from under the dash into the cowl and sealing it up.

Another option Ive done before, is using a 83 to 87 Volvo wiper motor. Drilled the stock wiper arm bracket from the Camaro that connects directly to the motor. I had to put a slight z bend in it, and place the tiny ball screw on the firewall side. Im assuming this is a camaro.

Remove upper cowl cover, C-clamp the Volvo motor in place, adjust for proper articulation, testing with car battery of course...then made a simple L bracket attaching it to the portion of the cowl that gets covered obvously, you dont see the top of the bolts. Its fits nicely, if you need to change it or service it, youll have to remove the cowl. But it may be easier to do then going under the dash.

If you have your stock one with all the goodies it makes it easier. If you consider doing it, Id find a used one for the mock up of course. I think new they can be had for 78.00. They also have 3 speeds if you care.

Let me know if you need help (over the internet of course unless you live in PHX)...lol

I used a DSE universal mount kit and with a bit of cutting on the aluminum adapter and drilling my holes to mount it was a snap to put in. It was the 1st electrical item on the whole car that worked and only took a total of 3.5 hrs to do. The stock wiper rod that goes to the motor just gets swung the other way and if mounted right , you cut it off to the length you need and weld the end back on the other direction using a small metal rod to span the cut.

There is a whole thread on the modification.
